Moving to another Computer

If you want to move your Cakedesk data to another computer, follow these steps:

#Moving Cakedesk to Another Mac

First, make sure that Cakedesk is closed on both computers. Then, copy the following folder from your old computer to your new one:

~/Library/Application Support/Cakedesk/Data/documents

To access the ~/Library folder on Mac, open Finder, click "Go" in the menu bar, and hold down the "Alt" key. The "Library" folder will then become visible in the list.

#Moving Cakedesk to Another Windows PC

First, make sure that Cakedesk is closed on both computers. Then, copy the following folder from your old computer to your new one:

%appdata%\Cakedesk\Data\documents

To access the %appdata% folder on Windows, you can simply press Win + R, type %appdata%, and press Enter.
