Discounts

In Cakedesk, you can add discounts to invoices and proposals. Discounts can be added as a percentage or a fixed amount and are applied to the total amount of the invoice or proposal.

You can add multiple discounts at once.

#Adding a Discount

To add a discount, click the arrow next to the "Add Item" button and select "Add Discount".

You can give the discount a title and select whether it should be a percentage or a fixed amount.

#Percentage Discounts

Percentage discounts are calculated based on the total amount of the invoice or proposal.

#Fixed Discounts

Fixed discounts are deducted from the total amount of the invoice.

#Discounts and VAT

Discounts are subtracted from the total amount of the invoice or proposal before VAT is calculated.
