Delivery date / service date

In Cakedesk, you can specify a delivery date for invoices. It can be labeled either as a delivery date or a service date.

Additionally, you can link the delivery/service date to the invoice date ("delivery date equals invoice date"). The delivery date will then automatically be set to the invoice date.

#Enable delivery dates

To have a delivery date on your invoices, it must be enabled in the settings. Go to Settings > Invoices and make sure the box is checked for "Invoices have delivery / service date":

Set delivery/service date for invoices in Cakedesk

This setting is enabled by default.

#Add delivery date

Once the delivery date is enabled, you can set it next to the invoice date when creating or editing an invoice:

Set delivery/service date for an invoice

The delivery date will then appear in the invoice PDF:

#Delivery and service periods

In addition to single dates, Cakedesk also supports delivery periods and service periods. Instead of specifying a single delivery or service date, you can specify a date range with a start and end date.

To use a period, select "Delivery Period" or "Service Period" as the delivery date type when creating or editing an invoice. You can then enter a start and end date for the period.
